School Integration Programs
Our school integration programmes are popular with students from all over the world. These courses are designed to provide a cultural and educational experience and promote rapid progress in English. Combining a quality and genuine English school timetable, with an exciting afternoon excursion programme, which is sure to give a true insight into the British way of life.
All our integration schools are rated by OFSTED as good or outstanding and can provide extracurricular activities, after school clubs and activities, if preferred to afternoon excursions. We can arrange alternative afternoon workshops, such as computer programming, exam preparation or accent reduction classes, all our trips are fully customisable.
Welcome to East Barnet School Integration
Our East Barnet Integration program offers international students a unique opportunity to experience authentic British school life. Students are fully integrated into the daily routine of East Barnet School, participating in all aspects of school life alongside British students.
Buddy System
On the first morning of school, there is an assembly where students are buddied up with an English student for the week. This student will be with them all week and help them with finding their way around the school and attend all classes with them.
Comprehensive Curriculum
Classes include English, Art, Geography, Maths, Social Health and Economic Education, Triple Science, History, French, Spanish, PE and IT. Timetables vary depending on the age of the student and what year they are in.
Healthy Meals
Students receive a packed lunch from their host family daily, including a sandwich, crisps, fruit, chocolate and a bottle of water. The East Barnet School kitchen also provides healthy, nutritious and cost-effective meals with an exciting and varied menu.
What's Included in the Package
School Integration
Students will attend one of our highly regarded schools and be integrated and made to feel welcome by the English pupils. In some cases an English student will be paired with each visiting student in a "buddy" system. Each day students will partake in the same daily routine as all other pupils. An English school day lasts from 8:30am to 3pm. Afternoon activities usually last 2-4 hours depending on activity type and travel time.
Host Family Accommodation
Students will be accommodated by one of our experienced and friendly host families and can choose to stay alone or with a friend(s) from their group. Students experience the immersion effect during evenings and have the opportunity to improve their language skills in a natural environment. All our host families have worked for us for many years and are chosen for their superior hosting skills and ability to make students feel at ease.
Meals & Catering
Host families provide a warm and comforting environment for guests and can cater for any specific needs and requirements. Throughout their stay students will enjoy continental breakfast, choice of packed lunch/hot school meal and hot evening meal. Host family profiles will be provided and students can choose their own accommodation and family accordingly.
Transportation & Security
All host families are willing to provide a drop off service to school in the morning and can collect guests from a designated local meeting point in the evening, giving the optional security to parents, that students will never travel unaccompanied during their trip. All travel to and from host families, school and afternoon/weekend excursions is included in the price of the trip. Airport transfers can be arranged if required.
Certificate & Souvenirs
Upon completion of the program students will attend a ceremony where they will be awarded a certificate of attendance and memorable t-shirt to be signed by their peers, an English tradition, which gives a unique souvenir to mark a truly unforgettable experience.
Customisable Programs
All our trips are customisable and with our flexible excursion options we can create the perfect trip to fit your budget. Groups can request guided tours, independent excursions or free time depending on preference.

School Meals
The East Barnet School kitchen provides healthy, nutritious and cost-effective meals, offering an exciting and varied menu for students and staff. They are one of the first schools to offer international cuisine from around the world, including Indian curry, Italian pasta, Chinese noodles, as well as English favourites like Fish and Chips.
Integration Experience
Our integration program ensures that international students feel welcome and supported throughout their stay. The buddy system provides individual attention and guidance, while participation in regular classes and activities creates authentic cultural exchange opportunities.
Location & Transport
East Barnet School is conveniently located with easy access to public transport. Students are transported to and from the school daily, with special arrangements for Wednesday and Friday activities that include transportation to Southgate station.
